Matt joined Re/Max Treeland Realty as a Licensed Realtor following his completion of the Real Estate Pre-licensing Course at the University of British Columbia. Matt grew up in Surrey, British Columbia with his parents and older sister. Having spent considerable time in Surrey and its surrounding areas Matt has significant knowledge of what the real estate market has to offer. Raised in a family with strong values, morals and integrity, Matt recognizes the importance of a trustful realtor- client relationship. Entering real estate with a strong and diverse educational and employment background Matt is sure to bring a variety of skills to his new career. Following his completion of general studies at Kwantlen University College Matt has enjoyed and excelled in various employment opportunities including selling home theatre at Future Shop, shift leading at Canada Safeway, McDonald’s, and his contribution to financial advising at Coast Capital Savings Credit Union. All of the aforementioned positions will inevitably assist Matt in his commitment to real estate. Recreationally, Matt enjoys and had the opportunity to play professionally in a variety of sports such as hockey, soccer, football, lacrosse, tae-kwon-do, and karate. Matt enjoyed competitive hockey since about the age of ten where he played at the highest level possible. His commitment to the sport afforded him the opportunity to establish himself as a team leader. Together with his team mates, Matt contributed to, and helped reinforce the belief that “Together Everyone Achieves More”. Some of Matt’s additional hobbies include snowboarding, skiing, boating and hiking.
